Ever since deciding I want to live my life to praise the Lord, I have never considered what life would be like, without the knowledge of his abounding, unending love for us, irrespective of what we have done. God is my strength that keeps me going through the week.
Take some time this week to consider where God stands in your life and I would like to leave you today with the following verse from Paul.
‘I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.’ – Galatians 2:20
It is often said that science and Christianity can’t both be right and there’s more proof for science being correct therefore Christianity must be completely wrong. I disagree with this and I am going to talk about the reasons why I think this is wrong. Continue reading Science and Religon
Sometimes in life we just need to step back, and take a minute. Take some time to think about how lucky we are. All of you reading this post are extremely lucky, wherever you are in the world. As we draw this series to a close I hope we have either made you think about starting, reminded you or strengthened your relationship with our heavenly father. Here at RCG we strive to ‘Help you get closer to God’ and I hope that is what this series has done.
Be watchful; stand firm in the faith; act like men; be strong. Let all that you do, be done everything in love.
1 Corinthians 16-13:14
Personally, the passage above gives me guidance on how I should live my life to make God happy and to complete his plans for my life. To help me remember these two verses and so I can read it every day, it is in a frame at the end of my bed. So when I wake up, I can read it. This whole series has been about how God is with you and how he gave us life, so that we could live. Because of this, God promised to everyone that carefully created, that he would never leave them. But this verse says that in everything you do, you should stick to you faith and let all that you do be done in love.
God loves you more than you can imagine, no matter who you are, what race you are, what gender you are. So you should love your Neighbours (everyone you meet) and your Lord in the same way.
