You are not alone…

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes will be saved” – Mark 16:15-16

As Christians, we should have a passion to spread the good news of everlasting life in heaven, with the living God to all people. But I’m not here to preach to you about what you should be spending your time doing; who am I to do that? Today we will look into scripture to reveal what it says about how we are never alone on our mission to be game changers in this 21st century world.

The ascension isn’t about the absence of Jesus, but of his eternal presence on Earth. When Jesus left his disciples, he left them the Holy Spirit. An angel spoke about it and said, ‘”The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.’ Ephesians 3:17-19 tells of the true power of God.

Guardians of Ancora 9 Months Later

It’s been almost a year since we first tried Guardians of Ancora and just over 9 months since it was released. If you haven’t read our original review of the free game, I strongly advise you do before this post. You can find a link to it here.
Since Scripture Union released the game, aimed at 8-11 year, olds, there have been numerous updates.

We have compiled a list of all of the original downsides to the game and the improvements which have been made since it was first released.capernaum.jpg

  • Loading time

I personally found that loading times have been reduced but could definitely be shorter.

  • Minor glitches and bugs

Most of these have been sorted however there are some frame rate issues at some points.

  • Game Play Restrictions

Guardians-of-Ancora-600x338.jpgIt still feels like the game should have a free moving camera but that is easily overcome by the great level design.

Despite being a free, well thoughtout game, that allows thousands of children to learn about Jesus in a fun and engaging way, there are still one or two improvements that can be made.

  • Lack of stories

There have been multiple new stories and levels added however it could still do with some more.CdLlKgMWIAEEmXB

We highly recommend you let your children have a go as it is a great game with loads of potential for the future.
