New Years Resolutions: Joshua 1:9

As well as the weekly posts on a Sunday morning, covering a range of topics, there is also going to be a weekly post on a Wednesday. This mid-week post will be much shorter and quicker to read. The posts content will range dramatically, week on week, so always look forward to Wednesday’s post!

God is with you – #3

After the death of Moses, Joshua was chosen by God to cross the river Jordan with the Israelites and to capture the promised land. Very early in the book of Joshua in the Bible, there is a verse that inspires me every day of my life and reminds me that God is with me during the hard, bad times and the good.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

You might also like to do this, but I like to memorize amazing verses from God’s word like this, so that if I ever have a day when I feel like God has left me, it puts me back on the path of truth and faith.
